Boys RECAP Friday the 13th

The Eagles boys' teams traveled to Kimbrough Stadium to play the Plano Wildcats Friday night.
The JV came up short against the Wildcats 2-0.

In the Varsity game, Plano took the lead late in the 1st half on a corner kick.
The boys came out with a chip on their shoulder in the 2nd half and in true 'Friday the 13th'
fashion, scored the equalizer in the 71st minute. Evan Dobbs took the ball up the right sideline,
crossed into the box and Stephen Walters settled and shot, finding the back of the net.

The last 8 minutes were a free-for-all by both teams, the mids and forwards created a few opportunities for the Eagles and the back line held strong and Keeper John Kaschak had 2
fantastic saves. When the final buzzer went off, both teams were still scrambling hard for a loose
ball.

The tie against the nationally-ranked Plano Wildcats gives the Eagles a 2-1-2 district record heading to a showdown next week against district front-runner Dallas Jesuit.
